Itinerary

Day 1

AM - Transfer and Lunch

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be met by your guide who will transport you to Puerto Ayora. Check in to your hotel and enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant.

PM - Charles Darwin Research Station

After lunch, visit the Charles Darwin Research Station, a scientific foundation dedicated to the conservation of the Galapagos Islands' fauna and flora. Observe the station's population of land iguanas and the famous giant tortoises, which are studied and protected there.

 

Day 2: Discovering Isabela       

• 6:10 am Meeting point at the pier. With Isabela at the time of entry it is necessary to go through a baggage check at the dock. We will take a boat called fibers for a value of $ 1 dollar that will take us to a location, then we will continue in another boat to Isabela. then we will continue in another boat to Isabela, it will take us approximately 2 hours and a half depending on the sea level. depending on the sea level, to enter the island we must pay $ 5 dollars (nationals) or $ 10 (foreigners).

 Adventure in Isabela: We will do aquatic activities such as snorkeling, where you will be able to swim with turtles, sharks and penguins.

• Return: We will return to Santa Cruz Island at the end of the afternoon

• 2:00 pm Lunch tasting

• 2:30 pm Return to Santa Cruz        

• 6:00 pm end of day

 

Día 3

AM - Bay Tour

We start this activity at 8:45 am in a boat with a navigation of approximately 20 minutes to Punta Estrada: Places to visit: Love Channel, Shark Channel, Dog Beach and Las Grietas. We have snorkeling with sea lions, sea turtles, reef sharks and we can also see the blue-footed boobies. Ending our activity approximately at 2:00 pm.

PM - Laguna de las Ninfas

Its crystal-clear turquoise waters are surrounded by a mangrove forest dominated by three species of mangroves: white, black, and buttonwood. The cracking of the lava mantle gives rise to a ravine over 50 feet deep, where you can observe typical arid vegetation such as opuntia and candelabro cacti, palo santo, and other native species that tumble down the ravine, creating a harmonious landscape between the greenery of the vegetation and the hues of the rock.

 

Día 4

AM - Playa Los Alemanes (Los Alemanes Beach)

Los Alemanes Beach is a beach with an approximate extension of 300 meters, surrounded by mangrove forests of 4 species of white, black, red, and button mangrove. The water is transparent and tends to turn a deep turquoise color, and its sand, typical of a young beach of coral origin and shells, has a beige to golden color. From the beach, you can see small rows of volcanic rock emerging from the sea.

PM - Santa Cruz Highlands

After lunch, we will continue with a visit to the highlands of the island. During this excursion, we will visit the twin craters and the Chato's ranch, where we will discover lava tunnels and giant tortoises in their natural habitat.

 

Dia 5

AM - Tortuga Bay

Our journey to Tortuga Bay begins with an approximately 30-minute hike. We'll first arrive at Playa Brava, walk along the shore until we reach Playa Mansa, a tranquil spot perfect for a photoshoot and enjoying nature's beauty.
